Description

Cave Defender is a Google Cardboard VR (iOS and Android) and Oculus Go Tower Defense game. You play the role of an Asteroid Mining Supervisor, tasked with protecting mining equipment from incoming debris. You and your robot helper BOB-95 perform your defending duties, and ultimately save a local colony when a larger situation arises.

History

Cave Defender began as an entry for the 2016 Global Archiact Jam. It proved out tower defense gameplay in a stationary 3dof VR experience. I continued to playtest the game jam build, and decided to bring a full game to market as a side project. Development was off and on in 2017, but in 2018 I have kept a consistent schedule of working on it.
